About Us
Financial education built on patience, not pressure
Manee Advisors was founded to offer something different: a quiet, structured space for adults to engage with their financial lives without the influence of product sales or market urgency.

How Manee Advisors came to be
Manee Advisors began in 2017 with a straightforward observation: many Thai adults in their forties and fifties had a reasonable knowledge of what they owned, but a limited understanding of the broader structures — pension timelines, market cycles, generational financial obligations — that would shape the second half of their working lives.
The gap was not a lack of intelligence or effort. It was a gap in access. Most financial content available to adults in Thailand was either too basic to be useful, too technically complex to follow, or attached to a product recommendation that coloured the advice.
The founders — both educators with backgrounds in economics and adult learning — decided to build something deliberately narrow in scope. Manee Advisors offers structured learning programmes, not financial advice. The facilitator explains; participants ask questions; no one is selling anything. This distinction turned out to matter considerably to the people who attended the first cohorts, and it has remained the defining characteristic of the organisation.
Today the programmes continue to run in small cohorts, in-person, at our premises in Bang Rak. The content is updated regularly to reflect changes in Thai social security structures and regional market conditions. The format — evening or weekend sessions with printed reference materials — has remained consistent because it suits the working adults who attend.

Our Standards
How we maintain the quality of our programmes
No Conflicts of Interest
Manee Advisors accepts no commissions, referral fees, or payments from financial product providers. Programme fees are the sole source of revenue. This structure is maintained as a matter of operating principle, not just policy.
Annual Content Review
All programme materials are reviewed at least once per year. Changes in SSO pension rules, provident fund regulations, SET market structure, and Thai tax treatment are incorporated before each new cohort cycle begins.
Cohort Size Discipline
Groups are capped at twelve participants. This limit is not relaxed for commercial reasons. It exists because the discussion format loses its value when the group becomes too large for each person to contribute comfortably.
Participant Privacy
Information shared by participants during sessions remains within the room. No case study is used in external materials without explicit permission. Participant contact details are held securely and not shared with third parties.
Facilitator Qualifications
All sessions are led by facilitators with graduate-level education in a relevant discipline — economics, finance, or adult learning — and at least eight years of professional experience. We do not use junior or unqualified presenters.
Clear Scope Statement
Every participant receives a written programme overview before the first session. This includes what the programme covers, what it does not cover, and a clear statement that the facilitator will not make personal financial recommendations.
Our Approach to Financial Education
Financial literacy for adults in their forties and fifties in Thailand operates in a specific context. The Thai Social Security Office pension provides a partial income floor; provident funds vary considerably by employer; the Stock Exchange of Thailand has its own cycle and character. Adults navigating retirement planning or household finance responsibilities cannot rely on content designed for a different country's tax or pension system.
The Manee Advisors programmes are built around this specificity. The market cycles programme works through historical SET data alongside regional indices. The pre-retirement programme discusses SSO pension timelines and provident fund structures by name, using the actual regulatory framework. The family finance workshop draws on case studies from Thai households, reflecting the particular weight that intergenerational financial responsibility carries in this context.
The format of each programme — discussion-led, in-person, with printed reference materials — reflects a view about how adults learn. Working professionals in Bangkok have limited time and high competing demands. A good financial education programme meets them where they are: in the evening or on a Saturday, with materials they can read and revisit, in a room small enough to ask a question without feeling self-conscious.
The absence of product sales is not incidental to the model — it is the model. When a facilitator has nothing to sell, the conversation can go anywhere. Participants raise concerns they would not raise with a financial product salesperson. The discussion becomes more honest, and consequently more useful, because everyone in the room understands that no one's interests are served by any particular answer.
